Emraan shuts down rumours of playing Mehmood in RD Burman biopic

Emraan Hashmi has denied reports of playing Mehmood in Farhan Akhtar's RD Burman biopic, calling them untrue on Instagram. Farhan is said to play Burman, while Akshay Kumar will portray Rajesh Khanna. Burman and Mehmood shared a close bond. Emraan's Awarapan 2 releases August 14.
